April, 2019

We have had a busy month at the Workshop.  Heating has been installed, so we shall be very warm and cosy next winter.  We have had a special session on Socks – swapping ideas, seeing Margaret’s sock machine in action, and being tempted by Jill’s pop-up sock yarn shop!

Along with the usual creative and busy Tuesday and Saturday Meet Make and Chat sessions.

Sock : Show and Tell

Meet Make and Chat Meetings

If you don’t feel inspired when you arrive, you certainly will do by the time you go home.

We love Lynn’s initiative & how she’s displayed her first spinning( now why didn’t we think of it, inspired)

Sheila’s in production both with needle felting and spinning & don’t those yarns look stunning displayed on a lampshade.

Joyce is setting up her loom to weave, and Pat is well on her way, and  Dennis is looking very dapper.

Linda & her 4 musketeers, and Michelle and her little people are ready for something very woolly coming very very soon

Kaye brought her delightful first spinning.

Barbara donated this really sweet teddy bear, for the Woolly Weekend raffle, she has been named Tulula Poppy.
