Lesley has been a long standing member of the guild. Lesley’s main interest is weaving with all sorts of yarn. Her main interests are using the peg loom and weaving sticks. But likes to have a go at all sorts of techniques including kumihimo and bobbin lace. She is often the one teaching members of the public to weave on our open days, she is a very good teacher. Here are some of her masterpieces….
Starting with a christmassy theme, Lesley has constructed a very effective woven Christmas tree wall hanging. An unusual but effective use for tinsel!
